Prepping for an RV Life

So after spending months and months of researching the RV lifestyle...one thought struck me. What if we put all the money and effort into researching, purchasing, selling our home, and prepping for a RV Life style, and realize...we don't like traveling as much as we thought we might? What if we don't like spending hours on the road and ended up arguing, snipping at each other and just being miserable?
With that thought in mind, we planned a month long cross country trip. We had already planned on being in Williamsburg Virginia, in July 2020 for a yearly family get together. So why not take the time to figure out if we could handle long days on the road and a month being away from home and all the stressors that come with traveling in this country.
So below are the videos we shot while during that travel. And guess what...We Loved It! The road, the sights, the people. We felt better then we had in months. There was something good in this for us. We found some peace, some self reflection and for the first time since our loss...some comfort.
So if you plan to RV for a long time, I suggest a trial run, like we did. Yes we stayed in hotels but that was almost more work then traveling in RV. Dog, luggage, video equipment, and food wise...Pulling our RV is much easier. Once you develop a routine it's pretty simple and actually satisfying. (Especially on a long road trip and you need to use the bathroom. )
Here was our outgoing trip plans. We took about two weeks from San Diego to Williamsburg VA. We spent a few extra days in Las Cruces, N.M., Albuquerque, N.M., Oklahoma City, O.K., Nashville, T.N., Memphis, T.N., and Ashville, NC.

Here are the video's we made of our Initial Trip.
